IMAX Camera

IMAX cameras are specialized recording systems for the IMAX format, originally film-based (65mm 15-perf), later digitized. Digital IMAX cameras produce footage with extreme resolution (8K-12K) for large-scale projection on screens up to 30m wide.

  • 1.43:1: Full IMAX (only in true IMAX theaters)
