MovieTech P10 Remote Head—electronically controlled 2-axis pan-tilt head for cranes and jibs, supporting camera payloads up to 25 kg.

Overview

The P10 Remote Head is an electronically remote-controlled pan/tilt head (Remote Head) from the German manufacturer MovieTech. It is mounted on camera cranes, jib arms, or dollies and allows the camera to be moved remotely without an operator sitting directly at the head. In its standard configuration, the P10 operates as a two-axis head (pan and tilt); it can be expanded to a three-axis system via the optional roll axis.

The P10 is positioned as a quiet, precise head for studio, location, and broadcast applications. According to the manufacturer, the system is used, among other things, for major sporting events such as the Football World and European Championships, where fast, quiet, and exact camera movements are required.

  • Broadcast and live transmissions, especially sports, thanks to fast and repeatable movements.
  • The CNC-milled aluminum frame with sliding motor-gear units allows for precise balancing of the camera's center of gravity.
