- Observe Voltage: The lamp voltage must match the mains/dimmer voltage (e.g., 230/240 V in Europe). An incorrect voltage variant will result in incorrect color temperature, power output, or premature failure.
- Do Not Touch with Bare Hands: As with all halogen lamps, skin oils on the quartz envelope can lead to premature failure.
- Check Fixture Rating: Some Source Four fixtures and dimmer channels are designed for specific wattage ratings; the 750 W lamp increases heat and electrical load compared to the standard 575 W lamp.
