Document detailing which costumes appear in each scene for planning and logistics.
A Costume Breakdown Sheet is a document from the costume department that lists all costume changes and details for a character by scene.
The sheet documents costume condition, soiling, damage, and alterations per scene. The Script Supervisor and Costume Designer use it for continuity between shooting days.
Prevents continuity errors with non-linear shooting schedules. Documents costume condition for reshoots and pick-ups. Lists required duplicates and replacement costumes.
Costume Breakdown is created by: Set Costumer, Costume Supervisor, or Assistant Costume Designer. Part of the preparation in Pre-Production.
