3. Creative Use

The 75mm T1.9 delivers oval bokeh and blue oval flares at 2x squeeze, while remaining geometrically rectilinear – lines do not distort, which simplifies VFX work. The flare intensity is low; those seeking pronounced anamorphic streaks will need to actively provoke them or resort to vintage glass. The look is high contrast and sharp, with significantly less character than a Hawk or Panavision C-Series. It is typically used on studio productions, commercials, and high-end series that want the anamorphic format without optical surprises. The lens is available as a set from most major rental houses; individual rentals are rarely sensible.
