Nanlite LED panel series delivering 2,500–8,500 lux, full spectrum 2,700–7,500K, CRI 96+, battery-powered with Bluetooth/DMX control.

Technical Details

The LitoLite series includes the 5C, 5C Pro, and 19C models, offering light output from 2,500 to 8,500 lux at one meter. All versions utilize full-spectrum LEDs within a color temperature range of 2,700K to 7,500K with a CRI of at least 96. The panels are powered by 14.8V Sony NP-F batteries or USB-C, with a single battery charge providing 1.5 to 4 hours of operation depending on brightness. Integrated Bluetooth and DMX control allow for remote operation via the Nanlink app or professional lighting consoles.

History & Development

Nanlite launched the first LitoLite in 2019 in response to the growing demand for compact, battery-powered LED panels. The Pro version followed in 2021 with improved light output and expanded control options. The 19C, introduced in 2022, expanded the series with a larger format for applications requiring more light output.

Practical Application in Film

LitoLite panels primarily serve as fill lights in interview settings or as eye lights in close-up shots. Their compact design makes them ideal for gimbal setups or tight shooting locations where larger fixtures cannot be positioned. With available softboxes and grids, directional or diffused light characteristics can be created. The variable color temperature allows for matching with existing artificial or natural light without the need for filter gels.

Comparison & Alternatives

Key competitors include the Aputure AL-MX and the Godox M1, with the LitoLite standing out for its higher light output and better app integration. For larger productions, the more powerful Aputure Nova P300C or Creamsource Vortex4 are often preferred, though they are significantly heavier and more expensive. The LitoLite positions itself as a middle ground between consumer panels like the Neewer RGB660 and professional broadcast lights.
