Slim LED fixture with articulated arm and full RGB range — fits tight spaces and cramped sets. Standard for fill light and accent work.
On small sets and in cramped shooting spaces, you quickly get creative — the Dada Light is designed precisely for that. The thing is a flexible LED stick with a thin, bendable arm that you can literally plug in anywhere: between furniture, in niches, above door frames. The head itself remains compact, while the length of the arm remains variable. This makes it the perfect tool when grip space is tight or you don't want to assign an assistant with a C-stand.
Color control is the core feature — via app or wireless remote, you can adjust color temperature (typically 2700K to 6500K) and saturation. This means: for a day of interiors with changing light, you pack just one lamp instead of three different gels. For fill light that you need to adjust quickly — for example, to break a facial shadow or give an object a colored kick — it saves equipment and time. The light output is moderate (typically 1000–2000 Lux at one meter), so it's more in the realm of accent and fine-tuning, not key light for large areas.
Practical: The thin arm allows you to use the Dada as a practically invisible light source — keyword motivation light behind a cabinet or as a hidden rim light. The LED technology produces no heat radiation, a big advantage for close-ups or when talent would sweat. Power consumption is minimal, which pleases the electricians and generator operators.
Tip: The color accuracy is solid, but RGB LEDs have limitations with extreme green and magenta tones — if you need very specific color references, you should test before use. On average, we often use them for post-production lighting or on documentary shoots where portability is more important than absolute brightness. It's not a small Arri, but it's indispensable as a supplement to the kit.
