Prop that actors physically interact with during a scene – weapons, phones, documents, food items that require special handling and continuity attention.

What is an Action Prop?

An Action Prop is a prop that performers interact with – it is touched, used, moved, eaten, or otherwise incorporated into the action. Unlike set dressing, action props are dramatically relevant and require special attention to continuity.
